Baked Pork Chops Recipe

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the pork chops and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the pork chops with garlic powder and seasoning salt to taste.
  3. In a small bowl, beat the eggs. Dredge each pork chop lightly in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and coat it liberally with bread crumbs, pressing the crumbs onto both sides of the chops.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded pork chops for about 5 minutes per side, or until the breading appears well browned. Transfer the fried pork chops to a 9×13-inch baking dish and cover them with foil.
  5. Bake the pork chops in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
  6. While the pork chops are baking, in a medium bowl, combine the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, and white wine, stirring well to mix.
  7. After the pork chops have baked for 1 hour, remove the baking dish from the oven. Pour the soup mixture over the pork chops, ensuring they are evenly covered. Replace the foil.
  8. Continue baking for another 30 minutes, still covered with foil, until the pork chops are cooked through and tender.
  9. Remove the foil and serve the baked pork chops with the creamy mushroom sauce on top.
  10. Accompany with your choice of side dishes, such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.

Note: Adjust the cooking time as needed, ensuring that the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption.
